Wounded Warriors Family Support November 16, 2006

Dear Wounded Warriors Family Support,

I would just like to write you to say a very grateful "Thank You"! My daughters and I had a wonderful time at the Bahama Bay Resort in Orlando. It gave us the opportunity to get away from our busy life and just enjoy each other for a few days.

My daughters absolutely loved the resort and Disney World. It was more than generous of you to give us the opportunity for this trip. What a wonderful organization you have for giving families the opportunity to spend time together. Thank you again!

I have attached some pictures for you to enjoy and see what a great time we had.

a promise fulfilled...

Maria Wiener and her daughters, Mikayla and Theadora, were our most recent guests at our Bahama Bay resort last week.

Maria's husband, Jeffrey, was a Navy corpsman who was killed in May, 2005 in Haditha, Iraq. While in Iraq he promised Mikayla a trip to Disney World when he returned.

Wounded Warriors Family Support made his promise come true.

Wounded Warriors Family Support was the subject of an Associated Press article that can be read on the Fox News web site.

I will be in Washington, D.C. tomorrow to attend the closing ceremony of the "Relay For The Troops" cross country motorcycle ride.

The ride started in Long Beach, California with motorcycle riders carrying flags flown in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Wounded Warriors Family Support and the Walter Reed Society are co-beneficiaries of the NYK Logistics sponsored ride.

Semper Fidelis!
